I am from Bellefontaine, Ohio. I have a BA in English from Goshen College, and a Masters in Communications from University of Denver with a certification in Dispute Resolution. I did my teaching credentials at Metro State University. I taught ELA-S kindergarten for 15 years, am certified in ILe Spanish Reading Intervention, started and led the Home Visit Program at DCIS at Fairmont, served two years as a coach for ECE-2nd grades, and developed a K-2 course called Global Studies. I lived and worked in El Salvador for four years which is where I learned my Spanish. I enjoy biking, hiking, volleyball, and meeting new people!
