Dear Families,

Next week we have two unique learning opportunities, one for adults and one for students. On Wednesday our mental health team will host an online meeting at 6:30 pm to discuss suicide prevention and Safe2Tell. Read on for more details about how you can get a free Walmart gift card for attending.

On Friday, MSLA is hosting a STEM Day, sponsored by the Assistance League of Denver. Each class will participate in hands-on science and engineering experiences from 9-12:15. We invite you to join the fun with your child!

Many of our students are talking about the war in Ukraine. Teachers have been intentionally addressing student questions and concerns in a developmentally appropriate manner. Please support these conversations at home as well. This article from the American Psychological Association can help adults guide their young children beyond fear and to resilience.
