Dear MSLA Families,

We hope you had a safe and enjoyable winter break! We are excited to open the school up to in-person learning next week. We can’t wait to see our students in person again. Remote learning will continue for families that selected that option.

Here are a few reminders to help make this return to school as safe as possible:

  1. All students need to complete the online health screening before entering the building each day. Here is the link for the screening: https://bit.ly/SafeAccessMSLA 
  1. Keep your student at home if they have ANY of these symptoms:
    • Fever (100.4) or chills
    • Cough
    • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
    • Fatigue
    • Muscle or body aches
    • Headache
    • New loss of taste or smell
    • Sore throat
    • Congestion or runny nose
    • Nausea or vomiting
    • Diarrhea
  2. Masks are required for all students and anyone on school grounds.
  3. Please make sure your child comes to school each day with:
    • Mask
    • Charged computer
    • Computer charger
    • Water bottle
    • A smile!
  1. Be on time for arrival and dismissal. We do not have staff supervising the playground before or after school this year due to COVID.

Free Covid Testing for Students

Students will now be able to take a initial COVID-19 test before coming back to school as well as ongoing screening tests every other week. The tests are free, fast and reliable. Sign up here. Family members and community members can sign up here to get tested, too.

Free Meals Delivery

Get free meals delivered directly to your house each week for your children. Sign up here.

Queridas Familias, 

Esperamos que hayan tenido gran y saludables vacaciones de invierno. Estamos muy contentos de poder volver abrir la escuela para aprendizaje en persona la próxima semana. No podemos esperar a ver a nuestros estudiantes en persona nuevamente. Aprendizaje remoto continuará para las familias que lo seleccionaron. 

Aqui hay algunos recordatorios para poder tener un salvó regreso a la escuela:

  1. Todos los estudiantes necesitan completar una evaluación de salud antes de entrar al edificio cada día. Aqui esta el enlace: https://bit.ly/SafeAccessMSLA

    • Diarrea
  2. Se requiere cubre bocas para todos los estudiantes y todos los que estén en los campos de la escuela.
  3. Por favor asegúrese que su hijo/a venga a la escuela todos los días con los siguientes artículos: 
    • Cubre bocas/mascarilla
    • Computadora con pila
    • Cargador de computadora
    • Botella de Agua
    • ¡Una sonrisa
  1. Llegue a tiempo en la entrada y la salida: No tenemos personal que supervise a los niños en los jueguitos antes y después de la escuela dado al COVID. 

Pruebas de COVID Gratuitas
Los estudiantes pueden tomar una prueba inicial de antes de regresar a la escuela y pruebas cada otra semana. Las pruebas son gratuitas, rapidas y de confianza. Registrese aqui. Los miembros de familias tambien pueden registrarse aqui. 

Comidas Gratuitas
Pueden recibir comidas gratuitas directamente a su casa cada semana, para sus hijos. Registrese aqui.
